Multi-disciplinary company Focus Consultants has been appointed to the NHS SBS Framework for a second term.
The Nottingham-based firm, with branches in Leicester, London and Boston in Lincolnshire, has been re-appointed to provide construction consultancy services. The agreement runs until 31 March 2022.
Focus is currently on seven framework agreements, including the ESPO 2664_18 framework to supply consultancy services for property & building advice and management services, and the ESPO 664-17 framework to supply consultancy services in leisure, culture and tourism, as well as asset management and delivery – all to public sector clients and social housing providers.
The NHS SBS Framework provides ease of access and offers a compliant route to market for NHS and public sector organisations.
Focus undertakes a range of work within the NHS and public sector, and is currently working on schemes across the UK, including Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, and London. Last year the company was instrumental in the opening of Lincolnshire’s first Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), having been project manager, designer, principal designer, quantity surveyor and contract administrator for the development in Lincoln for Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT).
“It is always great news to be appointed to a framework, as it makes the procurement process for clients simpler and helps pave the way for new contracts for us as a company,” said Focus partner Keith Butler. “Focus Consultants is proud to have been re-appointed to the NHS SBS Framework, and delighted that we are now on seven frameworks nationally, in support of our work across the country.”
The company has expertise in a wide range of fields, including project management, funding and economic development, funding applications, economic impact appraisals, business plans, and research and evaluation. Since 1994 Focus has also secured for clients more than £1 billion of grants for projects and businesses across the UK and delivered more than £1.9 billion worth of projects and programmes – making it one of the most successful businesses of its kind in the country.
In addition, Focus offers a range of services to the property and construction industry, including building surveying, project management and sustainable development support.
